There are four types of SOUND PACKAGES available. Shockwave Soundsystems can help you determine which is most suitable for your needs based on the type and square footage of the event and the number of people attending.
Bronze Package: This is perfect for smaller gatherings or events having up to approximately 50 people. A pair of Mackie speakers are elevated on tripods, providing clean, crisp sound. You don't get the rich, lower, bass tones to the music, but it's plenty loud enough! This is a solid choice.

Silver Package: This is an excellent choice for the slightly larger event (i.e. birthday party in a small hall) where music and dancing is a priority. Music playback is handled well through larger, more powerful JBL speakers, providing increased bass and better overall sound quality. This is absolutely suitable for events having 50-100 people, and if you're looking to have people dance, this package is a great start.

Gold Package: Events requiring optimal music playback will benefit from our Gold Package. A pair of Mackie speakers used to produce crisp mids and highs are pole-mounted over massive JBL subwoofers that provide that extra bass response. This is the most commonly used package for weddings and reunions. It's perfect for most events between 100-300 people and is a great choice to get that party started!

Platinum Package: Combine all the speakers from Bronze through Gold and you have our Platinum Package! We are talking about some serious sound--over 3000 watts of pure pumping power! This is perfect for a prom or event of 300+ people. If you really want to impress your guests, the Platinum Package delivers!

There are also three levels of LIGHT PACKAGES available that you may add for an additional charge. If you really want to dazzle your guests, a light show is a must!
Level One: Three high quality lights are mounted on a tripod, and illuminate the dance floor to the sound of the music. This is perfect for smaller events!

Level Two: Two tripods are used in this package, and the lights are doubled! This offers a much greater range of coverage, and your guests will love the streaming colors pulsating to the beats of the music! This is perfect for any mid-sized event!
- Add $100 to any Sound Package.
Level Three: Get rid of those tripods and bring out a ten foot truss system! If you're looking for the "WOW FACTOR", then this is it! Our system spans the entire DJ area, and lights are mounted all over it! The light show is breathtaking, and professional lasers are even utilized to amaze your guests. It's like being in a club! We tend to use this system for really large events, like proms, but if you want to completely blow your guests away, then this is the package for you!
- Add $200 to any Sound Package.
Included at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE to any Light Package are strobes and smoke machines. The reason they are not listed above is because some people choose not to have strobes at their events. This is for medical reasons, as individuals who experience seizures may react adversely to their use. Smoke machines, depending on where your event is being held, may not be allowed. It is best to check on this beforehand. If you would like any of these at your event, just let us know, and we'll be glad to add that item to your Light Package!
